This year’s World’s Ugliest Dog competition was held at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma. Twelve dogs battled for the title of world’s ugliest dog, and in the end only Gus came out on top. Winers are selected from two classes, the Pedigree class and the Mutt class. Gus won the Pedigrees class and went on to beat Reggie who had won the Mutt class. After winning the competition Gus had to meet the Ring of Champions which included winners from the previous year.The 2008 World’s Ugliest Dog competition was won by a Chinese Crested dog named Gus. In addition to having skin cancer, the dog also has only one eye and and 3 legs. 11 dogs took part in the competition.

Dogs need 4 legs to walk…or do they?

Well most of them do, but not wonder dog Faith. She was born with deformities,(the biped dog vedio ) she only had one front leg and it had to be removed when she was 7 months because it was starting to atrophy. But thanks to the care of her adoptive owners Faith managed to survive and grow into an amazing dog. She learned to move by using only her 2 remaining legs, but, according to her owners although it was a very difficult process, it was also natural.
