
“60 Minutes” will focus on the work of former “Wild Kingdom” co-star Stan Brock of Knoxville and the Remote Area Medical organization on Sunday’s show.
The CBS newsmagazine, which can be seen at 7 p.m. on WVLT, Channel 8, sent crews to Knoxville recently, where reporter Scott Pelley talked to Brock.
In the report, Brock will talk about how he became familiar with the needs of remote peoples through his days working on a South American cattle ranch and as zoologist Marlon Perkins’ muscle-bound assistant in the pioneering television nature show “Wild Kingdom.” …click here to read more
