The Face Of Paper Frustration

The fish was folded from a CP and the cat was reverse-engineered from the picture. Both were designed by Hsi-hua Liu, and folded by me from 6-inch kami.
Both of these models are very satisfying to fold, and have nice three-dimensional folding sequences that I really enjoyed. The cat was very engaging to reverse-engineer, unlike some models I’ve done that with. One of the things I like about these is that they look good from almost any angle; front, back, side, it works in every case.
Oh, and for those of you that are interested: the cat is from a square divided into 8ths along the side. With a little thinking, it’s possible to fold the entire thing without extra creases
