Good design house out and inside!
“Instead of creating a glass chamber that sits like a fish bowl on the landscape, Wardle produced a series of panoramic vignettes that are captured throughout the house.” Christopher Moore

Project description: Victoria’s coastal regions are losing the architectural type of the holiday shack. Development over the past decades fuelled by increasing demand and rebuilding after the Ash Wednesday fires has seen the rude shacks replaced by a suburban architectural language that more closely mirrors affluence and the demands for comfort and amenity.

This house located above the sand dunes at Anglesea is such a shack and in the economy of its planning, its materials and its sitting retains the memory of the type.
