I am So SORRY to hear that.My lovest singer:Sean Levert, the broth of late R&B singer Gerald Levert, passed away at the age of 39. Sean was a member of the group LeVert and there was no cause of death currently known. His brother passed away in his sleep at the age of 40. Levert was in prison for failing to pay nearly $80,000 in child support payments.
The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s office said Sean LeVert’s body was taken to the hospital from the Cuyahoga County Jail.
A jail official says a guard checked on Sean LeVert last night and noticed he was having difficulty breathing. Medical help was called, but could not save the singer. Jail officials say they were not aware of any pre-existing medical condition. Sean levert dies

He went into jail for child support issues & was found dead. God bless the LeVert family, it must be very hard losing 2 sons so close together. Although he wasn’t as well known as his big brother Gerald, his contribution was no less. He was also a part of the group LeVert, which had songs like Casanova & Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop goes my mind
i just wanna say sorry about your lost it seems like yesterday you seen the both of your laughing and talking about the old days and know all of a suuden there gone but you have to stay strong for the family and keep your head uo but remember you lost two boys but heaven gained two angels.
I have loved Eddie Levert since the 70’s and I am saddened that the Levert family are going through another traggedy. I will keep them in my prayers. Veronica

my heart goes out to the Levert Family. I have walked in your shoes before, I did lost a son before to valiant crime. i have followed the career of Eddie Levert from the old school days. Eddie, if by chance you get to read this or some shares this with you and your wife I want you both to know God knows our pain but does others know we grieve every day.My son has been dead 11 years now but each day it seems like just yesterday. My son,just for laughs said he was Gerald Levert, and my daughter was the one that hollowed out to you in Detroit last week “I see where he got it from (meaning Gerald)So you see the kids grew up together.May God bess all of you family.
We always ask why. i was told that you never get over the death of a child i have not experience this and i can not imagine what this family is going thru, but i was told god do not put no more on you than you can bear.my prayers are with this family, and you Eddie have my deepest sympathy. you were those boys Hero. My heart bleed for your lost.

I want to send my blessings out to the Levert family in there time of loss. No words can express when you lose a loved one, I grew up listening to Levert and my parents are huge fans of the O’Jays and it hurts me to my heart. I want to extend my prayer to the family and let them know that God is there in your time of sorrow and he will never leave your side. He will be your friend, comforter, mother , father, brother , sister, whatever you need him to be just give it to him and he will bring you through.

What a tragedy for the Lavert family. I know this must have devastated the father, Eddie and the rest of the family. I prayers and compassion goes out to the family. May God rest his soul and heal the family.
